My Handmade Addiction: Cheer Up, Buttercup!

If this blog is going to be a true reflection of me, then I have to be honest. Honestly, today I'm feeling a bit blue about my guest blog post on Chic & Green. It wasn't EXACTLY how I envisioned it appearing. I'm a bit of a perfectionist. It was NOT perfect. I tried to correct it but I'm still feeling a little down in the dumps. I may have just the remedy for this yucky feeling! Let me know if it cheers you up too!

What you'll find in my corner of the blogosphere

The primary reason I started this blog was to rave about the BEST handmade shops I know of. I have a great deal of respect for handmade artisans. In this era of big box stores, seeing an independently owned, handmade shop succeed is all too rare!

Here you'll find me showing off the pretty items I see on my many Etsy "window shopping" excursions. I'll also shine a spotlight on the goods of local handmade artisans who share my greenish views as well.

Please note that I do NOT get paid to blog about these shops or products! I blog to spread the word about the handmade movement in America. On a selfish note, I hope that by promoting them, these shops can continue to thrive and I can continue to shop with them! I jokingly refer to my love of shopping by saying it's, "how I stimulate the economy one purchase at a time"!

You will also find greenish tips, a few recipes, some gratuitous puppy pictures, monthly giveaways and whatever else I think may pique your interest!
